Why I built this
Plateify started as a personal tool to understand my own food sensitivities, after calorie counters and diet apps didn't help. When I couldn't find something that connected what I ate to how I felt, I built it myself.
The company
Varma LLC is a Virginia-registered app studio founded in 2026. Its first product, Plateify, helps people connect what they eat to their mood and energy — surfacing patterns between food and how they feel.
The company works closely with its users to keep refining the experience.
